Amelia Sargent and Aarti Wilson Presenting a NAPABA Webinar
Amelia Sargent and Aarti Wilson, senior associates, are co-presenting a webinar hosted by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Solo & Small Firm Network on September 17 at 1:00 p.m. PDT. Their presentation, titled "Trends in Trade Secrets," covers the most recent caselaw updates on trade secret protection, including the definition of trade secrets and its enforcement provisions.
The live webinar is eligible for CLE credit for NAPABA members and anyone interested in attending may register for the webinar here.
Amelia, Aarti, and their co-presenter, Julie Cheng of New Bamboo Consulting, will review how trade secret protection has evolved from common law and the Uniform Trade Secrets Act (UTSA) to now including federal protection under the Defend Trade Secrets Act, 18 U.S.C. § 1836, et seq. (DTSA). They'll discuss the impact of DTSA and preemption, as well as tips and tactics relevant to both outside and in-house counsel in thinking about protecting trade secrets and trade secret litigation.
